“”For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”
Happy Monday sweet friends! I hope you each had a beautiful and pleasant weekend. Can you believe it is the first day of April, is time moving faster or am I just getting older?! It is also the first Monday of the month which means it is Monday Morning Blooms with my friends Shirley, Lidy, and Mary. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and pull up a chair for some lovely spring flower therapy!
Spring is bursting out all over! My Lady Banks roses are not quite at their peak, but still beautiful and I just had to show them to you. As I write this, the weather man is predicting a freeze warning for this morning. If that happens, it will be bad news for the roses and my snowballs blooms!
When I first placed the flowers under the arbor, the tulips were slightly opened. Within five minutes they were completely opened, I don’t know if it was the temperature or the wind but I could almost see them opening like a fast motion time lapse!
The flowers are loosely arranged in the watering can. A loose arrangement is easy and perfect for a mix of flowers. Along with the tulips are coral bell azaleas, heirloom daffodils, Carolina jessamine, phlox, and hydrangeas. This colorful mix of flowers might be found growing in any Southern garden or yard.
Mockingbirds build in my arbor every year and they were unhappy that I had invaded their space! I decided to give them a break and moved the flowers to the shaded picnic area. I also feared for the top of my head!
The redbud trees have been absolutely gorgeous this year. We have quite a few that are spread over our thirty one acres and I sweetly asked My Renaissance Man to cut some small branches. Forsythia is an early bloomer, but I still was able to find a little to mix with the redbud.

Be sure to come back tomorrow as I share my Easter tablescape!
Thank you for your sweet visits and the comments that you leave. Wishing you a lovely spring week!
